![]() Most Tek service technicians hated them (well, look at the "pineapples" they were comparing these "crabapples" against) and parts were hard to come by as most Service Centers didn't have enough volume in the things to warrant stocking parts - so even the most common Euro transistors had to be ordered. ![]() Most TV service techs I've worked with while at Tek liked the things. All have TV frame and line triggering capability, an otherwise expensive option (Option 5) on many Tektronix scopes such as the 453, 454, 465 and 7B53A. They bought them to acquire a low-end line of equipment that was going to hopefully be attractive to the TV service industry and hobbyists. Telequipment was a wholly-owned, U.K.-based subsidiary of Tektronix. As I recall, there was the D75 and D81 which were better yet. ![]() The D67 was one of the bigger and better of the TQ line.
